There appears to be a fairly concerted effort to turn the @joekent16jan19 resignation from an Iran war story to an antisemitism story.
People should recognize how rare it is for a high-ranking official to resign in protest over a war. I think Kent is the highest ranking official to do so since the Vietnam War fifty years ago (IMO Kent's position is higher ranking than Josh Paul in the Biden Administration or the foreign service officers who resigned in protest of the Iraq war).
Whatever you think of how Kent worded his resignation letter, there's no way he would do this for the sake of some arguably 'antisemitic trope'. Things he saw internally must have disturbed him deeply.
