The other night Naomi Wolf’s husband went on a moronic tirade again Emerald Robinson over a Chabad joke in her latest Substack and he included an interesting story about our border czar Tom Homan.
According to Brian O’Shea after Trump announced that he would be appointing Homan to be his “border czar” (which was a position invented just for him) Homan started receiving a bunch of threats so the Brooklyn Chabad community gifted Homan with up to $150,000/month worth of “Tier 1 operator” private security.
Now, first off it’s extremely weird to me that Homan was supposedly receiving all these threats considering no one even knew what the hell this new border czar position was, what kind of authority it would have or even why it was needed when we have secretaries for ICE and HHS.
Secondly, that’s a huge “gift” to be giving a potentially powerful member of the administration *in total secrecy.*
Sorry, I’m actually not okay with groups secretly gifting high value services to government employees. Don’t really care what group it is. I called this crap out ALL the time with Biden.
But when I went to see if Brian was full of shit and this actually wasn’t some kind of secret that’s when I came across this story that I somehow missed last October (probably because I was up to my eyeballs with Charlie Kirk).
Turns out the FBI did a sting operation on ol Tom Homan in September 2024 where he was recorded accepting $50,000 in cash at a fast food restaurant in exchange for guarantees that he would steer government contracts to these businessmen when he was in Trump’s cabinet.
And when Trump took office, he had his “principal associate deputy attorney general” at the DOJ, Emil Bove, shut the entire case down.
(Emil Bove was then appointed the Third District Court of Appeals.)
So THAT’S why Homan can’t be HHS secretary… because he’d never survive Senate confirmation. And of course Trump knew all this which is why he made up a bullshit title so Homan can just operate in the shadows behind the scenes with his Chabad handlers… er security… keeping him safe at all times.

US is now begging others even China to help make the Strait of Hormuz safe.

Terrible planning & poor intelligence. There should be regime change in Iran at the moment, but instead US oil tankers, bases and jets are being destroyed.
The US miscalculated, or much better underestimated the scale of retaliation. Allies/NATO nations aren't convinced enough to get involved.
The UK is confused, Spain kicked the US AirForce out, France has said no and Italy is currently in talks with Iran to let Italian ships through the strait of Hormuz.
Puts Trump in a difficult position, either to pull out or dig a deeper hole than Afghanistan.
