The January 3, 2026, U.S. operation resulting in Nicolás Maduro’s arrest was not primarily a counter narcotics or humanitarian mission to liberate Venezuela from an "evil dictator".

Venezuela, 17% van de wereldolie, maar onder Maduro gingen ze van 3.500.000 vaten/dag naar 1.000.000 vaten/dag. De afgelopen 50 jaar is er niets aan die infrastructuur gerenoveerd. Het zou ongeveer 58 miljard kosten om deze te herstellen.
Met andere woorden, economisch gezien is het oppakken van Maduro de juiste zet, aangezien China er met het grootste deel van de Venezolaanse olie vandoor ging.
Alles heeft te maken met de reset van de dollar, zoals hier eerder al is gezegd: de petrodollar.
Nicolas Maduro wasn’t charged with drug trafficking, he was charged with conspiracy to use a machine gun against the United States.
