I agree with Trump on changing the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War...
The name didn't make sense. With all the countries destroyed, the millions killed, and the bombings targeting most countries around the world in the name of defense, the name War is more logical and realistic, and reveals the true nature of America more clearly.

Can you please explain how this isn’t the Trump admin’s “WMD” moment? Another war for oil based on false pretense? The “War on Drugs” you are launching will mirror the failed “War on Terror”—only this time the death and destruction will be in our hemisphere; on the continent we share with Venezuela. If you thought the migrant crisis was bad under Biden, imagine how our region will look when the dust settles.
Why can’t we just get Venezuelan oil by behaving like grown-ups and buying it from them again? Marco Rubio, an ideological Cuban-American (whose own brother-in-law was jailed for narco trafficking), is putting his own affinity group’s goals ahead of regional security and the interests of the American people. At this rate, Rubio is set to seize the throne of post-Trump MAGA and take the country straight back to Bush neoconservatism. The Trump II admin already bombed Iran and is now igniting a new regime change war in *our neighborhood.* And all you can do is cheer it on?

But Noboa and companies owned by his oligarch family are directly linked to the drug trade, as opposition candidate Luisa Gonzalez illustrated in this brutal debate takedown.
Every several months, European authorities find several tons of cocaine packed in Bonita Banana containers shipped from Ecuador.
Daniel Noboa has served as shipping director of Noboa Corporation. And as Gonzalez pointed out, his political career has been financed with drug money.

Unsurprisingly, it is now escalating to outright war on Venezuela itself. This was always about regime change, not "drugs."

On this occasion, Hamas welcomes any initiative that helps in the efforts to stop the aggression against our people. We affirm our immediate readiness to sit at the negotiation table to discuss the release of all prisoners in exchange for a clear declaration to end the war, the full withdrawal from Gaza, and the formation of a committee to manage Gaza from Palestinian independents, who will immediately begin their work. We also demand a guarantee that the enemy will openly and explicitly commit to what is agreed upon, so that previous experiences of reaching agreements that are later rejected or overturned will not be repeated. The most recent example was the agreement proposed to the movement by the intermediaries based on an American proposal, which was approved by Hamas in Cairo on August 18, 2025. However, the occupation has yet to respond to it, and instead, it has continued its massacres and ethnic cleansing.
Therefore, the movement is in constant contact with the intermediaries to develop these ideas into a comprehensive agreement that meets the needs of our people.

This benefits Israel, which keeps the land, avoids international pressure once fighting stops, prolongs Gaza’s crisis, and may push residents toward forced migration while its forces remain safe inside the Strip.
