This is ridiculous. You can't punish an entire population for a resistance group that holds hostages. By the same logic, if Hamas had an air force they could bomb entire Israeli cities because Palestinians are imprisoned in Israel. We also know Israel will obliterate Gaza once the hostages are released. The hostages are currency to get Palestinian prisoners back.

In response, Iran’s FM said Witkoff’s remarks are completely detached from the reality of negotiations and affirmed that uranium enrichment will continue.
