I may have just figured it out.
It makes more sense than anything else.
What if corrupt, anti-Trump intel officials left behind a lot of fabricated Epstein docs, including a fake "list," to ensure the full tranche would never be released and prosecutions would be hampered?
They have a well documented history of fabricating info to try to frame Trump and his associates.
We all know that guilty parties inside govt weren't protecting "the Epstein docs" under a cloche just waiting for Trump to get into office and make them public.
That's what could cause them all to now say "there's no client list." They have concluded there's no "real" client list.

Eén ding is zeker, Trump probeert ons te vertellen dat er meer aan het verhaal is dat we niet weten. Hij beweert dat de bestanden "geschreven" zijn door het Obama/Hillary/Comey/Brennan-kabinet. Dezelfde mensen die momenteel worden onderzocht door Trumps FBI/DOJ, vanwege hun verraderlijke Rusland-hoax. Misschien zijn de twee onderzoeken gerelateerd of overlappen ze.
Het lijkt erop dat Trump suggereert dat de bestanden zijn vervalst voordat hij in 2017 opdook, misschien zijn de echte verborgen/verwoest, enzovoort, maar er is geen twijfel dat er lagen zijn die wij niet begrijpen. En aangezien deze situatie nog steeds gaande is en onderzoeken momenteel open zijn, is het logisch waarom ze ons nu niet alles kunnen vertellen en zo indirect/geheimzinnig moeten zijn.
Trump gebruikt ook een eigenaardige woordkeuze, dat Epstein "nooit sterft". Interpreteer dat zoals je wilt, maar het lijkt erop dat er iets in die uitspraak kan zitten, of misschien helemaal niets, ik weet het niet zeker.
Een andere zin die opvalt, is wanneer Trump zegt dat we "recht in hun handen spelen", wat suggereert dat velen in een val trappen. Trump vertelt ons dat deze onderlinge strijd en hysterie deel uitmaken van een operatie om Trumps momentum te dwarsbomen. De vijand wapenfet MAGA’s emotionele fixatie op Epstein en gebruikt het om ons te verdelen.
Concluderend probeert Trump ons te vertellen dat de situatie ingewikkeld is, dat er dingen zijn die ze nog niet kunnen onthullen, maar dat de jacht aan de gang is. Trump en zijn team onderzoeken momenteel Comey en Brennan, en daarmee ook Hillary en Obama.
Laat Trump doen wat hij zei dat hij zou doen. Hij werkt niet volgens jouw tijdlijn, en wij hebben niet alle informatie.

On Monday night, the House Rules Committee voted 5–6 to block an amendment proposed by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA). This amendment would have required the Justice Department to release Jeffrey Epstein–related documents, attached to both the cryptocurrency GENIUS Act and a defense funding bill.
