JUST IN: Netanyahu tried to sabotage the deal intended to release the American captive:According to a report by Yedioth Ahronoth, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer actively sought to prevent a U.S.-Hamxs deal that aimed to secure the release of American captives held in Gaza.
The report, citing a senior U.S. diplomatic and intelligence official, alleges that Netanyahu’s office leaked details of a meeting between U.S. hostage envoy Adam Boehler and senior Hamxs officials in Doha.
This leak was reportedly intended to create a rift between Washington and Jerusalem, potentially causing Hamxs to harden its positions and allowing Netanyahu to blame Hamxs for any failure to reach a deal.

️BREAKING: Netanyahu is not committed to end the ‘war’ and blames the U.S saying they’re “not doing their job” with regards to ethnic cleansing. Netanyahu made clear to faction leaders: Negotiations will be conducted only according to the Witkoff framework, with no commitment to ending the war.
Amid renewed talks for a hostage deal, the Prime Minister stated that Israel would agree only to a temporary 40-day ceasefire. Ending the war would be discussed only if Hamxs surrenders and disarms.
There are pessimistic forecasts within the political establishment regarding the chances of reaching an agreement. Netanyahu is also frustrated with the progress of the emigration plan: “There is willingness to leave, but no countries are accepting them. The U.S. isn’t doing what it should.”
