Massie: "My amendment is simple: remove $3.3 billion in foreign aid to Israel from the State Department funding bill. We have $39.4 trillion in debt and domestic needs, including roads and bridges. We have homeless veterans, yet this bill sends Israel more money than we spend on them.
There are 3,000 counties in this country. Dividing $3 billion among them means $1 million per county. That's not much to stop sending overseas. I think we should cut spending on Israel."
