Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has presided over failed policies, both foreign and domestic, that have weakened his hold on power. This is a good thing.
We may be living in one of the most significant moments in time regarding West Asian and global geopolitics. In 1977, the world could not imagine the Persian Gulf without factoring the reality of the Peacock Throne. In 1979 the fall of Reza Shah Pahlavi took the world by surprise.
