Israel bombed a residential building at 3:40 a.m. in the suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon, while civilians were sleeping. Even if the target was a Hezbollah member, he is part of a political party, making him a non-combatant under international humanitarian law—rendering the strike illegal. But as we know, Israel routinely disregards such laws and has no red lines when it comes to targeting civilian structures or civilians while using excuses and propaganda to try justify it.
