I can't stop laughing, learning that Trump and Lutnick think that Japanese consumers want to buy U.S. made cars and U.S. grown rice. 
Anybody who knows anything about Japan knows that the BEST cars and the BEST rice in the world come from... wait for it... JAPAN!
Nobody in Japan is going to bother trying to choke down U.S.-grown rice unless they want to barf in the back seat of their U.S.-made automobile that's so large you can't even park it anywhere in Tokyo.
The Trump administration is absolutely tone deaf when it comes to dealing with Asia. Trump's view of Japan is ripped right out of the 1970s and hasn't been upgraded since.

A tsunami warning has been issued for Japan’s Pacific coast, Hawaii, and Alaska’s Aleutian Islands after one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded.
Authorities warned: “A tsunami has been generated that could cause damage along coastlines of all islands in the state of Hawaii. Urgent action should be taken to protect lives and property.”
