BREAKING: A witness who was only 5 feet away from Alex Pretti filed an affidavit depicting what she saw.She says he didn’t touch any of the officers and didn’t appear to be resisting. He was merely helping a woman who had been pepper-sprayed.

Na de moord op Alex Pretti die gisteren plaatsvond in Minneapolis komen nu ook Republikeinse politici in opstand. Het gaat nl. om een belangrijk principe op rechts: wapenbezit. Het voorwendsel dat Pretti zijn wapen zou hebben getrokken tegen ICE-agenten wordt weersproken door de beelden. In Minnesota is het dragen van een vuurwapen met een vergunning legaal. Pretti maakte gebruik van zowel zijn grondwettelijke recht op vrijheid van meningsuiting als zijn recht op wapenbezit. Daarnaast was hij geen doorsnee linkse activist maar een verpleger die zich inzette voor oorlogsveteranen die medische hulp nodig hebben. Dit spreekt conservatieve mensen aan. Voeg daar aan toe het feit dat hij het opnam voor een weerloze vrouw die door agressieve ICE-agenten werd mishandeld en ineens is daar een giga sympathie-factor van rechtse mensen. ICE heeft deze keer het verkeerde slachtoffet gekozen.
