Global Sumud Flotilla

Italian activist Vincenzo Fullone describes how he was detained in Israel’s Ketziot prison after joining the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza, where he was forced to kneel for hours, beaten, and humiliated—all while calling for the release of Marwan Barghouti and Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.

⚡🇵🇸BREAKING: Largest humanitarian flotilla to break the siege announced.

The Global Sumud Flotilla will launch its Spring 2026 mission on March 29, departing from Barcelona with stops across the Mediterranean.

Over 100 boats and 3,000 participants from 100+ countries including 1,000 healthcare professionals, lawyers, and engineers will deliver aid and medical supplies while peacefully challenging Israel’s blockade of Gaza.

A parallel land convoy will mobilize thousands across neighboring Arab countries. The announcement was made at the Nelson Mandela Foundation, framing the mission as a coordinated, nonviolent global response to siege, mass starvation, and the destruction of civilian life in Gaza.

Teresa Regina, the mother of Brazilian activist Thiago Ávila, has died while her son remains imprisoned by Israel.

Thiago was abducted in international waters during the “Freedom Flotilla” mission to break the siege on Gaza and is reportedly still unaware of his mother’s death due to isolation in detention.

Activists are demanding the immediate release of Thiago and Palestinian-Brazilian activist Saif Abu Keshek.

We welcome the news that Saif Abukeshek and Thiago Ávila are being released from illegal detention by the israeli regime in occupied Palestine.

Once again, people around the world have risen against this blatant injustice, generating public, political, and diplomatic pressure to demand their release.

We will continue mobilizing and raising pressure for the release of all Palestinian prisoners and political detainees.

We demand accountability for Israeli crimes and for all those complicit in them.

End the blockade! End the genocide! Free Palestine!

PERSCONFERENTIE — VOLGENDE FASE VAN DE MISSIE

13 mei, 14.00 uur (GMT+3) in Marmaris, Turkije.

📍 Beluga Beach, Marmaris
