Finland’s University of Helsinki has suspended all student exchange programmes with Israeli institutions, according to Yle News.

The university made this decision as a result of the "catastrophic deterioration" of the humanitarian situation due to Israel's war on Gaza.

The university went further to emphasise that it is ready to help rebuild Gaza’s higher education and research system once it becomes possible.

The Russians must be kidding the Finns. A Russian shadow fleet is dancing in a circle in the Gulf of Finland, near the Finnish-Russian maritime border.

According to Marine Traffic, an online service that tracks maritime traffic in real time, vessels resembling oil tankers, cargo ships and tugboats are circling near the Finnish-Russian maritime border.

According to the Finnish Coast Guard, there are no real ships there. The deception is most likely caused by either AIS signal spoofing or GPS interference.... The Finns have no idea what technological capabilities Russia has
