The new social media app Upscrolled has announced it is moving in the same direction as Meta and Mark Zuckerberg by creating a Trust and Safety Board to combat disinformation, bullying, harassment, and hate speech.
The board will include civil rights experts and digital rights specialists tasked with shaping and enforcing these rules.
While the app promises no shadow bans and no bans on political speech, it also states that the Trust and Safety Board will ultimately hold the real authority.
