️BREAKING: Press Statement from the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas:

The criminal Netanyahu government continues to use starvation as a weapon in its genocidal war against our people in the Gaza Strip, blatantly disregarding growing international calls to end this horrific crime, which has been accompanied by brutal massacres for nearly nineteen months.

The fascist occupation government attempts to mislead global public opinion by claiming to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, while using this false narrative as a cover for one of the most horrific campaigns of starvation and genocide in modern history.

We call on the international community to intensify pressure to stop these blatant violations of international law and to act urgently to end the genocide and massacres against innocent civilians in Gaza. Immediate steps must be taken to lift the siege and allow the entry of aid without restrictions or conditions.

Article 29 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961):

“The person of a diplomatic agent shall be inviolable. He shall not be liable to any form of arrest or detention. The receiving State shall treat him with due respect and shall take all appropriate steps to prevent any attack on his person, freedom or dignity.”

Article 22 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961):

“The premises of the mission shall be inviolable. The agents of the receiving State may not enter them, except with the consent of the head of the mission.
The receiving State is under a special duty to take all appropriate steps to protect the premises of the mission against any intrusion or damage…”

Statement of Condemnation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces, which deliberately targeted by live fire an accredited diplomatic delegation to the State of Palestine during a field visit to Jenin Governorate. The delegation was undertaking an official mission to observe and assess the humanitarian situation and document the ongoing violations perpetrated by the occupying forces against the Palestinian people.

This deliberate and unlawful act constitutes a blatant and grave breach of international law and of the fundamental principles of diplomatic relations as enshrined in the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The targeting of accredited diplomatic representatives — who enjoy full legal protections and immunities under international law — reflects the systematic contempt of the Israeli occupation for the norms and obligations governing inter-state relations and underscores the deeply entrenched impunity with which it continues to operate.

The Ministry holds the Israeli occupying government fully and directly responsible for this criminal assault and affirms that such acts will not pass without accountability. The Ministry further calls upon the international community — particularly the home countries of the targeted diplomats — to take a clear and resolute stance against this egregious violation and to implement effective measures to curb Israel’s ongoing crimes, including its aggression against the diplomatic corps accredited to the State of Palestine.

The Ministry reiterates its urgent demand for international protection for the Palestinian people and for all diplomatic personnel operating in the State of Palestine.”

The direct gunfire by Israeli occupation soldiers at 25 Arab and European ambassadors and diplomats during their visit to Jenin refugee camp reflects the occupation’s arrogance, brutality, and blatant violation of all international norms and conventions.

The ongoing Israeli aggression against Jenin and its camp for the fifth consecutive month—alongside continuous assaults on Tulkarm, Nablus, and other West Bank areas—is a desperate attempt to implement annexation and displacement plans through intensified settlement and land theft.

We affirm that no matter how deep the occupation sinks into its crimes, it will fail to achieve its goals in the West Bank, Gaza, and every inch of our occupied land—thanks to the steadfastness of our people and the resilience of our brave resistance.

We call on the international community to escalate pressure to stop the occupation’s crimes and to support our people’s steadfastness, their right to self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
