Intervention in Venezuela with the aim of replacing Maduro will end up like Afghanistan: Invade, bomb and spend 2 Trillion Dollars for 20 years and to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.
So what should President Trump do?
ANSWER: Execute the following tasks in order:
First, secure the borders, legal ports of entry, land, air and sea.
Second, go after the criminal networks inside the United States. Make drug and human trafficking a capital offense (death penalty)
Third, remove any illegals found inside the country during the execution of tasks 1 and 2.
Fourth, (and last) declare that we reserve the right to launch punitive strikes or raids to destroy drug and human trafficking infrastructure in proximity to our borders.
To date, We have not even accomplished Task 1. Drug and human trafficking continues across our borders and through our coastal waters. Tens of thousands of children go missing every year inside our country.
Bombing people in Venzuela will Change nothing in the U.S.. Bombing, invading, or occupying Venzuela will not eliminate the demand for drugs or child trafficking inside the U.S.. Only action inside our country will do that.
Now is not the time to declare war on any foreign power. However appealing the idea of being tough and crushing a weak nation south of the border may be in Washington DC it won’t solve the problem at home.
The war that must won is the war inside our country; the war to enforce the law, to eliminate the criminals killing our men, women and children.
