Read as an act of projection, this BBC headline captures the essence of the "Hamas sexual violence" scam: it is Israel, aided by a legion of apologists and Western media stenographers, that has used sexual violence allegations as part of its genocidal strategy in Gaza.
This new report by the "Dinah Project", funded by the UK gov't and co-led by a former Israeli military prosecutor, recycles the same debunked claims. As always: there are no identified victims, dead or alive. There is no physical, forensic, and visual evidence. There are only the debunked or transparently false claims of self-described witnesses, all with zero corroboration.
After nearly two years of debunked propaganda, the Dinah Project report only attempts to offer one new allegation to the Oct. 7th story. The authors claim to have interviewed a female who was the victim of "Attempted rape; Sexual Assault" on Oct. 7th.
Yet they offer zero detail on her purported story. Nothing on what this "attempted rape" or "sexual assault" entailed. All they tell us, in a footnote, is that they spoke to her in May 2025 and that "[he]r testimony is corroborated by D., who was part of the rescue team, and by another confidential source." So without knowing a single thing about what this purported victim said, we just have to take it on faith that her "testimony" has been "corroborated" by unidentified sources, whose "testimony" is also concealed.
Could these by the same "sources" who spread the lie about dozens of beheaded babies? This is simply a lazy attempt to recycle the same lie that has been used for the sole purpose of manufacturing consent for mass murder in Gaza -- and distracting from Israel's actual, documented sexual violence against Palestinians.
One of the most cynical and transparently fake propaganda exercises I can ever recall. No matter how many times media stenographers and Israeli apologists recycle this propaganda campaign, those of us with a conscience -- and fidelity to facts -- refuse to be intimidated by it.
