Vanity Fair Called Erika Kirk WEIRD — She Told A Student Her DIAMONDS Were Real, Like Her Hair.
Candace Owens said tonight that the funniest line in the Vanity Fair profile is the moment the writer admits Erika Kirk is strange. Clara Molot wrote that Erika knows she does not make sense to most people. Erika’s answer was, “I’m built different. This world will not break me.” The writer then described the first meeting at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, on the morning of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Molot arrived in a conservative dress. Erika arrived in a black silk set, a freedom cap, glittery gold high-top sneakers, baby-pink acrylic nails, rings with her children’s initials, a large diamond, and a copy of Charlie Kirk’s Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Weeks later, a Turning Point high school member told her she liked the rings. Erika said, “Thanks. They’re real, like my hair.” Candace said that is not how a normal person answers a compliment. It turns a kind remark into a status check. The writer called her an enigma down to her clothes. That one sentence did the rest of the work.
Charlie Kirk is gone. This is the scene his widow chose to put on the record. Watch the clip.
