CANADA HS COUNSELOR: “YOUR KEFFIYEH REMINDS ME OF A HAMAS”
Kathryn Patterson, Guidance Counselor at Iroquois Ridge High School in Canada was caught on camera in a heated discussion with a student about his bandana, reminding her of Hamas.
The Counselor offered clarification when the offended student felt judged as ‘a terrorist,’ that it was his head scarf which was making her uncomfortable.
“I didn’t call you a terrorist. I said that reminds me of Hamas.”
