️Israeli occupation forces withdraw from Hebron (Al-Khalil) after displacing residents of 540 homes, leaving widespread destruction

Mayor Yousef al-Jaabari told Safa News Agency that Israeli occupation forces ended their ten-day siege and withdrew from all neighborhoods of Hebron (Al-Khalil), in the occupied West Bank, at 6:00 am, allowing residents to begin returning to their homes and inspecting the damage left by the Israeli assault.

According to Jaabari, residents of approximately 540 houses and residential units were displaced during the assault, with Israeli forces converting some of the properties into military barracks.

The assault also caused extensive damage to infrastructure and vehicles, while roads were bulldozed. The mayor said residents have begun inspecting their homes and belongings, while the municipality will assess the damage and document the losses. Daily life has started to resume, with students returning to schools and universities.

Israel orders complete closure of Gaza crossing with Egypt, blocking aid and commercial goods

A senior Palestinian source involved in negotiations told Drop Site News that Israeli authorities informed the UN and Egyptian committee on Monday evening of a decision to impose a “complete and comprehensive closure” of the Rafah crossing, blocking humanitarian aid, commercial shipments, food, fuel and cooking gas entering Gaza through the Egyptian route.

According to the source, Israel cited alleged smuggling and “interference by government bodies in the Gaza Strip” as reasons for the closure.

The Egyptian route handles approximately 50–60 trucks daily, accounting for “nearly half of the daily supplies entering the Gaza Strip,” the source said, adding that “fuel and gas come entirely through this route.”

Under the October 2025 ceasefire agreement, 600 aid trucks are supposed to enter Gaza daily, but Israel has severely restricted deliveries, allowing an average of only around 200 trucks per day.

The closure comes as Palestinians across Gaza face the onset of winter in makeshift tents and heavily damaged homes, with worsening food insecurity compounded by cuts to World Food Programme assistance.

The source warned that the shutdown could have “direct repercussions on the humanitarian situation and market stability,” driving up prices for fuel, cooking gas, food and other essential goods.

Israeli forces end 11-day Hebron siege as raids and settler attacks continue across the occupied West Bank:

Hebron: Israeli forces withdrew from several neighborhoods in Hebron on Monday after an 11-day military assault on the city that displaced nearly 5,000 Palestinians. Israeli forces demolished 15 civilian buildings, including homes, and disrupted schooling for some 80,000 students. Direct economic losses exceeded $3.8 million per day, while infrastructure damage surpassed $1.9 million, according to local Palestinian officials.

Settlers attacked the home of Youssef Shanaran in Wadi Al-Rakhim, Masafer Yatta, throwing stones as the family’s confinement entered its 29th consecutive day. Twelve family members, including children, have been unable to enter or leave without Israeli military permission. Settlers also reportedly threw unidentified substances into the family’s water well.

Ramallah: Israeli forces fired tear gas toward Al-Mughayyir Secondary School, northeast of Ramallah, causing students to suffer from tear gas inhalation.

Nablus: Israeli forces arrested journalist Samer Khweira after raiding his home in Nablus.

Bethlehem: Israeli forces demolished an inhabited home in Umm Salmuna, south of Bethlehem, without prior notice.

Tubas: Israeli settlers stole livestock from a farm in the Salhab area northeast of Tubas, and damaged two vehicles.

Salfit: Settlers blocked several roads near Kifl Haris, Haris, and Wadi Qana, burning tires and obstructing traffic with stones.

Israeli occupation forces have arrested journalist Samer Huwira from his home in Nablus, about three weeks after he described to Haaretz the conditions he endured during nine months of administrative detention, from which he was released in January without trial after losing 22 kilograms and contracting scabies.

The Israeli army says he incited "terrorist activity on the Internet." It first claimed he had been transferred for police interrogation, then retracted that, and it refuses to say where he is held.

Huwira was previously detained over a Facebook post reporting the killing of a Palestinian by Israeli forces in Nablus, and no evidence of illegal activity was presented against him.

WHO IS TRYING TO KILL ISRAELI OPPOSITION LEADER EISENKOT NOW? HE FILES POLICE COMPLAINT

Israeli opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot has filed a police complaint tonight after an alleged death threat was made outside his home.

The complaint identifies right-wing activist Yossi Cohen, whose son Amit was killed at the Nova music festival on October 7.

Cohen joined roughly two dozen protesters outside Eisenkot’s home, where activists accused him of responsibility for the death of his own son, Gal, who was killed fighting in Gaza.

Then Eisenkot’s wife Hannah was allegedly told:

“You will not live, you will be next to your son.”

Eisenkot has now taken the threat to police.
