Kharg Island was targeted by U.S. airstrikes a few hours ago, with field sources telling Fars that over 15 explosions were heard across the island. The strikes reportedly aimed at army air defenses, the Joushan naval base, the airport control tower, and the Flat Continent helicopter hangar, while thick smoke was seen rising from the island.

Sources say no oil infrastructure was damaged, noting Iran had previously warned that any attack on its energy infrastructure would lead to all oil and gas facilities in the region linked to the U.S. and its allies being set on fire and destroyed.

Trump claimed the U.S. targeted all military objectives on Kharg Island. Earlier reports had said the island’s air defense systems were completely destroyed, but their activity resumed about an hour after the strikes, contradicting those claims.

Trump has also repeatedly claimed Iran’s missile capabilities were destroyed, yet Iran’s missile and drone attacks have continued, reaching their 48th wave.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters spox: In the event of an attack on Iran's oil, economic, and energy infrastructure, all oil, economic, and energy infrastructure related to the United States will be destroyed.

Spokesperson of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya: “A warning to the aggressive and defeated regime of the United States; in response to the statements of the aggressive and terrorist US president, we declare that if there is an attack on the oil, economic, and energy infrastructure of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as we have previously warned, all oil, economic, and energy infrastructure belonging to oil companies throughout the region that have American shares or cooperate with the US will be destroyed and turned into a pile of ashes.”
