WhatsApp is actively sharing the identities of Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank with the IDF which they use to harm people raising awareness about settler terrorism inflicted against their communities!
I spoke to a family last year. IOF soldiers targeted a cousin for operating a groupchat via WhatsApp and publishing footage of the ethnic cleansing of their village by Zionists. This is a PR problem for Israel. The IDF requested the identity from WhatsApp, who complied.
IOF soldiers dragged the man out of the village to a nearby settlement, where settlers beat him- and then he was forced to walk home on foot.
