⚡🇦🇪🇵🇸🇮🇱JUST IN:

The UAE is funding a pilot residential complex in Rafah under Jared Kushner’s reconstruction plan linked to Trump’s Council for Peace.

The project will require biometric data from residents, security checks for entry and exit, relocation from Hamas-controlled “red zones” to Israeli-controlled areas, and use of shekel-based digital wallets.

Schools in the complex will use UAE-provided curricula and exclude any content deemed supportive of Hamas.

Sky News Arabic report: There is an ongoing discussion between the US administration and the Palestinian Authority regarding the Palestinian Authority’s participation in President Trump’s “Peace Council,” but it is facing obstacles from Israel and the United States.

According to the report, pressure is being exerted by Arab countries and others on the US administration to ensure that the Palestinian Authority is not excluded from the management of the Gaza Strip within the framework of the international body.

A Palestinian source to Sky News Arabic: Israel has set conditions for opening the Rafah crossing that include an Israeli inspection post after the Palestinian one, with the latter having the final say regarding who will be allowed to leave or return to the Gaza Strip.

According to him, Israel requested a two-month extension to establish the new crossing at Rafah, but the US administration is pressuring it to set it up within a few days. In addition, Israel is demanding that Palestinian children born outside the Strip during the war or before it not be allowed to enter it.

⚡🇮🇱🇵🇸JUST IN: Israel is signaling that the political track may fail, putting “large-scale military escalation” against Gaza back on the table:

Israeli security officials assess that Trump’s plan for disarmament is unlikely to succeed, with Palestinian resistance expected not to surrender its weapons voluntarily.

The IDF has completed plans for a renewed military phase, says Israel’s defense establishment, as Southern Command forces begin advanced combat readiness.

Israel currently controls roughly 53% [In reality 65%+] of the Gaza Strip and is preparing for forced disarmament if diplomacy collapses.

Israel is also considering new restrictions at the Rafah crossing, potentially allowing more exits than entries.

A security cabinet meeting is expected as Netanyahu coordinates with U.S. officials.

⚡🇵🇸JUST IN: Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qassem:

We see that the inauguration of the Peace Council indicates international interest in consolidating the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Arab and Islamic participation in the Peace Council is important, as it expresses the Palestinian vision.

We call on the Peace Council to pressure the occupation to stop its violations of the ceasefire agreement and to open the crossings.

We demand the Peace Council mobilize urgent financial and relief support for the residents of Gaza in light of the difficult conditions the Strip is experiencing.

There is a deliberate "israeli" intent to sabotage all peace plans proposed by President Trump.

The resistance's weapons are primarily for confronting the occupation and defending our land and sanctities.

It is unacceptable for Netanyahu to be a member of the Peace Council.

⚡🇵🇸JUST IN: Hamas Statement:

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirms its adherence and commitment to the ceasefire agreement, at a time when the occupation continues to violate its terms around the clock in an attempt to disrupt it and obstruct the work of the National Committee, contrary to the announced American arrangements and guarantees.

As we enter the fifth month since the start of the ceasefire, approximately 484 Palestinian martyrs have ascended due to the occupation's fire, and 1,297 others have been injured, amid the absence of any real pressure to stop the continuous crimes.

It would have been more appropriate for some participants in the Davos Forum to focus on the ongoing crimes of the criminal occupation in the Gaza Strip, and the undermining of international efforts aimed at stabilizing the ceasefire, opening the crossings, the withdrawal of the occupation army, and launching the reconstruction process, instead of directing threats to the Palestinian side that is committed to what was agreed upon.

We call on the (Peace Council) to fulfill its responsibility to stop the occupation's violations and compel it to meet the obligations of the agreement, foremost among them the entry of aid and shelter supplies, and the commencement of relief and reconstruction, to protect our people from the consequences of the humanitarian catastrophe created by the occupation, especially as the Gaza Strip is exposed to waves of rain and extreme cold.

"There's even an airport, something that Gaza hasn't had"

This is false, Gaza had an airport, Gaza International Airport, was destroyed by Israel (IDF) in stages in late 2001–early 2002.

➤ Dec 2001: Israeli airstrikes destroyed the control tower, radar station, and parts of the runway

➤ Jan 2002: Israeli tanks and bulldozers tore up the runway, permanently shutting it down
