Praat hem niet goed, maar dit kan wel kloppen :
2. Recognized Refugees (Granted Status or Resettled)
Once official refugee status is granted, the family transitions out of asylum accommodation and is entitled to mainstream Irish social welfare. If the parents are unemployed and claim
Jobseeker’s Allowance, the calculation is based on the
Jobseeker's Allowance and Child Support Rates: [
1]
- Main Claimant (Adult): €254.00 per week [1]
- Qualified Adult (Spouse/Partner): Approximately €168.00 per week
- Three Children (Child Support Payment): Depends on the ages of the children:
- If all under 12: €174.00 per week (€58.00 per child)
- If all 12 or over: €234.00 per week (€78.00 per child) [1]
- Total Weekly Support: Between €596.00 and €656.00 per week for the household.
Additional Monthly Family Support
Recognized refugee families (but
not asylum seekers) also qualify for
Child Benefit, which is a separate, universal monthly payment of
€140.00 per child. For three children, this equals an additional
€420.00 per month. [
