Politicians, leaders, and journalists now acting moral or issuing statements after 18 months of genocide are only doing so because they see Israel as a sinking ship. They’re trying to whitewash their complicity while absolving Israel as a whole and placing all the blame solely on Netanyahu or the “right-wing government.” But Israel as a whole is complicit in the genocide and occupation of Palestine.

Vorige maand debunkten de factcheckers van Nieuwscheckers driftig een post van Mike Verest over glyfosaat in tampons (plaatje 1).

Vandaag in De Morgen: "Oh ja, er zit 40 x te veel glyfosaat in bepaalde tampons en het kan zo ook in de bloedbaan komen" (plaatje 2)

De Factcheckers van Nieuwscheckers zijn bekend van de samenwerking met het Nationaal Kernteam Crisiscommunicatie van de NCTV tijdens corona (plaatje 3).

Mike Verest, bekend van het strafbankje bij Op1 omdat hij zich niet liet vaccineren (plaatje 4), wordt in de gaten gehouden.

Factcheckers zijn onderdeel van psyops om de narratieven te bewaken. Het wordt wel een beetje verwarrend als legacy media de factcheckers debunken met hun nieuws.

To the journalists, politicians, and influencers who have now changed their stance and begun acknowledging the genocide and speaking out against Israel, we recognize and welcome this shift.

However, it does not erase the role you played in enabling this genocide to continue for 18 months. The words you wrote and articles you put out white washing Israel’s crimes and atrocities against Palestinians. The silence you chose even when you knew about everything that was happening in Gaza even when children were pleading for you to talk, you chose to stay silent.

Now the focus is purely on what matters which is ending the genocide but when this happens the focus should shift to accountability and holding every single person who enabled this accountable.
