⚡🇩🇰🇺🇸JUST IN: Denmark’s Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, said in a statement responding to Trump regarding Greenland:

"I have to say this very directly to the United States:
It makes absolutely no sense to talk about the need for the United States to take over Greenland.

The United States has no right to annex any of the three countries in the Commonwealth.
The Kingdom of Denmark - and thus Greenland - is part of NATO and is therefore covered by the alliance's security guarantee. We already have a defense agreement between the Kingdom and the United States today, which gives the United States wide access to Greenland. And we, on the part of the Kingdom, have invested significantly in security in the Aretic.

I would therefore strongly urge the United States to stop the threats against a historically close ally and against another country and another people who have said very clearly that they are not for sale."

⚡🇩🇰🇺🇸BREAKING:

A grassroots boycott of U.S. products is spreading fast in Denmark after Trump renewed claims over Greenland.

European media say this may go EU-wide.

100,000+ Danes have joined a boycott group, dropping brands like Coca-Cola, Heinz, U.S. wine, and canceling Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube in favor of European alternatives.

In what appears to be an attempt to troll Donald Trump and his desire to buy Greenland, the current owners of Greenland are signing a petition to buy the state of California from the U.S.

Here's the terms they're offering:

  • $1 trillion ($18,000 per Dane)
  • Rename California to New Denmark
  • Rename Los Angeles to Løs Ångeles
  • Rename Disneyland to Hans Christian Anderson land.
  • Give Donald Trump a lifetime supply of Danish pastries
And they argue that Trump might go for it.

Let's be honest - Trump isn't exactly California's biggest fan. He's called it ‘the most ruined state in the Union' and has feuded with its leaders for years. We're pretty sure he'd be willing to part with it for the right price.
The biggest problem with their plan is that last line. Even with all the drugs, crime, and commies, I doubt President Trump will go for it (even if they threw in Greenland).

California's annual GDP is currently at $4.1 trillion, and while the state has a whopping $1.6 trillion in debt, getting Trump to give up all that income for a measly $1 trillion doesn't even make sense!
