8m maar rotsen en de Cantabrische zee met daar een zeer sterke stroming en hoge golven.

Toevallig hoorde ik dit vanmorgen op de radio maar wist toen nog niet dat het hierover ging.
Die brug, die zou jaren geleden al hersteld moeten worden, het is in eennatuurgebied. De regering wou dit uiteraard doen via uitbestedingen en dan aan vriendjes en de plannen waren er al. Het zou geen gewon bruggetje meer zijn, maar om wat te overdrijven bijna een autostrade.

De lokale bevolking en de groenen waren tegen en wilden een gedegen herstelling.

Daar er hiervoor uiteraard geen miljoenen steekpenningen konden verdiend worden is er totaal niks gebeurd.

Resultaat : dit dus.

Women's rights should never be used as a pretext for waging wars that serve other interests.

If we truly believe in the freedom of the Iranian woman, the response cannot be more violence.

Rather, it must be more diplomacy, more support, and more international law.
